so far I haven't hit any set bugs - and I am using them a lot. http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259684 ok - I hit that one. But there is an easy workaround - editing the file by hand. you should look for portage bugs in the gentoo bugzilla and decide for yourself.
