Ciao Jody, I disagree, I have got people complaining multiple times in the past to be in troubles understanding what to download from where, for stable releases but also for nightlies (especially for them).
Having a clear indication of the available downloads on the home page is much more important than a map with some OSM data (at least IMHO :) ).
