I've used gip for (I'm guessing) 10 years, but only used the web forum in times of desperation and even then it has never borne fruit which couldn't have been found on this list. Maintenance of gip is the key issue. Assistance with using it is very helpful, and this community never seems to fail in providing that. I'm not sure how big a burden it is to keep this list running but it is really useful and without it, or some equivalent, then I imagine the user base of gip might steadily dwindle. That would be a real shame. _______________________________________________ get_iplayer mailing list [email protected] http://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/get_iplayer
