OK, this is now happening with regularity, even with the latest version.
I reboot, all is fine, then later on either when the daily batch file
kicks in around 2200 or when I try to use it manually it just hangs.
Haven’t determined if there's a time of day yet or noticed a
relationship of hang to something that I run.
There's no virus or malware that I can find on the machine. It's got to
be something conflicting with it, but there's very little that's changed
on the machine in terms of installed s/w and Windows updates stopped 2
months ago. I've reduced startup programs to the bare minimum.
Anyone technical reading that might have some idea of what might be
conflicting with it?

and lo and behold all worked OK again afterwards.
Given that nothing else was problematic I'll ignore this time and if
something else happens chase down memory, power etc.
Anyway one response prompted me to find the latest version and I
discovered it was up to 3.36. Bit of a jump.

Last night all working fine, this morning trying to download anything
results in output like below and no temp files created in the output
directory. It all just stops.
Internet connectivity all good otherwise as far as browsing,
