Point. Click. Type.  If you get really stuck, the tutorial is the
first entry in the Help menu.  One note of caution: Emacs.app is
slightly different to Emacs.

CVS is simpler than SVN, which is a pretty much a reaction to some of
its problems (while sharing others).
