Also only command windows opened after the system PATH environment variable
has been changed will search the new system PATH. It is not always a good idea
to modify your system PATH. If you installed gnuwin32 packages using the 
GetGnuWin32
downloader you might consider instead using the provided shortcut that will
open a command window with your gnuwin32\bin directory first in the PATH. This
allows you a dedicated command window that will run gnu sort instead of 
microsoft's,
for example. You can find the gnuwin32 shortcut in your start menu or in
C:\gnuwin32\Start Menu.
