"Uxtea hatan kanvleak ambuddtolo"....Konkani Proverb

One who drives away crows by the hand which he has taken his meals.
Goans dine with bare fingers, naturally some of the food sticks to their
hand; if crows are driven
away by that hand some of the food particles will fall down, n the crows
instead of going away
will come to pick up the grains.
This means that the man does good by intending to do harm.

There is also another proverb in the same lines...

Uxtea hatan kanvlo aambdina"....Konkani Proverb

A man does not like to drive away the crow when his hands are covered with
food particles,
being afraid that one of the food grains may fall down and attract the
crow....
This is refered to some selfish men who never does an act of charity.
