I think Janury 16 is Sancoale Feast Blessed Jose Vaz
Our Lady of Livra Febres at Consua (near Verna-Nagoa) usually later this month
St. Threza of Jesus feast just held in Chauri, Canacona
Feast of St. Sebastiao at some way side crosses & chapels and church on Jan 20
You can confirm or add more on the list for this month.
or send in details for next month like Carnival 21st, Feast on 2nd etc if you
know.
I wonder if the ‘Almanac de parade’ is still available in Goa ( like A3 size
large poster)
Which was the Festival guide for all including the ‘Feri; people like Khajem,
Pernim etc
Those days, a man used to come house to house for selling Almanac etc
He used to say/shout ‘Betina, Bentina, Almanac de Parade etc etc
Soon, people got betina FREE as souvenir at people’s month’s mind or
anniversary masses.
