One key fact destroying Goa & its Identity can be attributed to Specific Politicians and other vested communal interests, keeping the Goan Religious communities divided, so as to continue with their illegitimate exploits; be it for instance the Catholic Dominant Talukas or the Hindu Dominated Talukas. It is high time Goans irrespective of Religious background unite and fight the Anti-Goan Politicians and their destructive colleagues, else we will all be losers in the end; Goa without an identity could very well be merged into the Neighboring states!!
