One theory I find plausible is one that a radio friend in NSW brought up....

4HI was broadcasting a replay of a sports talk show, hence the mentions of
cricket an suchforth.

Plausible? Considering 4HI rebroadcasts an hour long breakfast show at 1pm,
I find this idea very possible.
