** BRAZIL. 9724.8 & 11934.9 approx., June 18 at 0043, JBA carriers, the former
suffering from 9730 Romania splash; both now must be designated Rádio
Evangelizar, ex-Rádio RB2: Re my logs of RB2 on 9724.835 and 11934.934, Rudolf
Grimm in Brasil replies:

``Hi Glenn, 1430, 6040, 9725 & 11935 no more RB2, but Rádio Evangelizar,
Curitiba``. I reply:

``Hi Rudolf, Yes, I saw those reports of Evangelizar, but it wasn`t clear
whether that was a total name change. Are they still relaying R Aparecida most
or all of the time? 73, Glenn``

``Hi Glenn, Better in PP: Radio Evangelizar em base não é o mesmo segmento das
demais correntes católicas do Brasil.
73, Rudolf Grimm,

LISTENING DIGEST)

** CANADA. 7850-CUSB, June 18 at 0041, no signal from CHU, which surely would
be audible if on; JBA in storm noise level on 3330-CUSB. 14670-CUSB not audible
either but could be on above MUF. May well be that 7850 is down to replace the
underground antenna cable before it fails like the 3330 one did. Recheck at
0609 June 18: still no 7850, but 3330 is more audible (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)

** NEW ZEALAND. 11725, June 17 at 2017, poor signal in English talk. Must be
RNZI, rarely audible at this hour, while 11725 is great after 0459. No wonder:
current sked shows 1959-2058 on 11725-AM is UT Saturdays only! Otherdays,
1951-2050 on 11690-DRM (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** SAUDI ARABIA. 11820.044, June 17 at 2040, BSKSA in Arabic, hoping for some
music or Qur`an to help lull my nap, lacking anything else worth listening to
on SW at this hour, despite in splash from the BS on 11825, so LSB tuning helps
--- until cuts off abruptly at 2046*, must be failure. Recheck at 2147, it has
resumed (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 1882 monitoring: confirmed Saturday June 17
at 2230 on WBCQ 9330.1-CUSB, poor, so the Saturday-only-one-hour-earlier time
continues despite revamped online schedule showing 2330 UT seven days a week.
And which still has not been corrected. Again I missed checking the UT Sun 0200
on WRMI 11580, but Richard Lemke, Alberta, confirmed it last week. On WA0RCR,
1860-AM, Wentzville MO, I check at 0339 UT Sunday June 18, and JBA vs heavy
storm noise level from southern Kansas, sounds like ARRL, not me; so WOR may
have started way earlier than nominal 0315, or delayed until way later. Next:
Sun 2330 WBCQ 9330v-CUSB to WSW
Mon 0300v WBCQ 5130v Area 51 to WSW
Mon 0330 WRMI 9955 to SSE
Mon 2330 WBCQ 9330v-CUSB to WSW
Tue 0030 WRMI 7730 to WNW
Tue 2130 WRMI 9455 to WNW, 15770 to NE
Tue 2330 WBCQ 9330v-CUSB to WSW
Wed 1030 WRMI 5850 to NW, 9455 to WNW
Wed 1315 WRMI 9955 to SSE
Wed 2100 WBCQ 7490v to WSW
Wed 2330 WBCQ 9330v-CUSB to WSW
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 9330-CUSB, June 17 at 2333, WBCQ sounds like `Allan Weiner Worldwide`
repeat as AW is defining fascism. AWWW previously occupied this hour on
Saturdays, but not showing on revamped online schedule. WORLD OF RADIO still
aired an hour earlier on Sat only, 2230 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 7490.068, UT Sunday June 18 at 0610, WBCQ is on at S9+10, talkshow
discussing remote viewing, so like last UT Monday during the 04-07 period, WBCQ
is also carrying the early-Sunday airing of `The Other Side of Midnight`. You
heard about it only here, as still not shown on the WBCQ website, nor that of
TOSOM (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 12105 & 9930 & 9475 & 5830 & 5085, June 17 at 2232, all three WTWW
transmitters are missing from all possible frequencies, day or night. Ditto at
0046 check June 18. Previously, #1 of 9475/5830 was on but dead air for hours
and hours and hours, so this is an improvement (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING
DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 6055, June 18 at 0048, JBA signal with talk, where there is
normally nothing. What could it be? Nothing in HFCC at this hour except Japan
registered available 24h, but surely not propagating to here near 10 am local
in the summer. Aoki shows what used to be here from Latin America: Radio
Universo Internacional, 300 watts from Uruguay, 24 hours; and R. Cultural Juan
XXIII, 3 kW from Bolivia but at 1030-2300, and on 6054. Not reported lately but
possibly active, and I didn`t note this as being off-frequency. Maybe temporary
Iran transmission for Ramadan? NO, not on that schedule as in DXLD 17-22 (Glenn
Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 13623.0-USB, June 18 at 0054, INTRUDER, 2-way in colloquial
Spanish, S4; mentions ``trampa`` which may be a cut above ``puta`` (Glenn
Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
