Hi Zach,

USA This PRESENT mini 7490v kHz unit is useless for trans-Atlantic
reception into Europe/North Africa azimuth target during March to Oct summer
season.

I guess azimuth on WBCQ in use is the other direction of 245 degrees on
limited 7 dB log-periodics ?

The other way around to move the great revolving Ampegon beast
of 300 kW from 9330 to 7490 kHz in 41 mb, for limited night hours only.

USA On March 7 at 01.07 UT checked a tiny -108dBm signal in Maine state
remotedly (but because lack of proper antenna in use there.)

In Rochester NY state much stronger at S=6 or -93dBm,
nice audio though at 01.25 UT, all on
7490.091 kHz on the upper flank.

Subject: [WOR] UBMP: was mentioned yesterday 23z on 7490
Yesterday at Uncle Bill’s Melting Point on 2300z and 7490kHz via WBCQ I
mentioned several times in his special programfor dangdut music. Signal in
Europe was near marginal as testedin kSDRs in Twente, UK, Eire , Iceland ,
Sweden Finland and Zante in GR whilethe SDR in Thessaloniki was unplugged.

Local reception was also possible only outdoors and nearby the home with
signal just above the local highnoise.
If you are curious to know what is dangdut there is a second chance
tolisten! Just tune next Sunday at 0400-0500UTC on WBCQ's Radio Angela
service to North America and Europe on 4790 kHz.
Thank you! Also advise me on how the signal will be received in your area!
