** CUBA. 5025, March 8 at 0823, S9+25 of dead air once again from R.
Rebelde. Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** CUBA. 13650, March 8 at 2314, no signal from CRI music default
instead of Portuguese relay; 15230 no signal either which once
substituted. BUT 15140 is on late with RHC Spanish S9+, good
modulation. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, oK, WOR)

** EGYPT. 9440v, March 8 at 2157, again no signal from R. Cairo in
English; SAWA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SAUDI ARABIA. 11915, March 8 at 2156 and still 2309, horrible
noiseroar continues from SBA, direct (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 9690, Friday March 8 at 2300, token English from SNR,
skipping any news, right into `special` about an art fair north of
Madrid, with 200 galleries from around the world, called ARCO?
S9+10/30 direct, interviewing various participants, such as at 2315
from the Caribbean with blue ice cream, visual elements left entirely
to the imagination (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 5960, March 8 at 2313, JBA carrier direct, and 9610 a
stronger JBA carrier, so which is VOT? By 2324 I check UTwente:
neither! Chinese on 5960, Mongolian on 9610, the understations
promoted to overstations. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler.
Both close to .000 unlike TRT (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2233 monitoring: confirmed Friday
March 8 at 2130 on IRRS via AM Italia, 1323 kHz, S8 into UTwente
across Europe but noisy.

Also confirmed Friday March 8, JIP the last few minutes from *2155
cut-on of WRMI 9955, S9+5/10 into Maryland SDR. It was already running
from 2130 on the System B program feed, supposedly internet only. I
was checking whether it would come on an hour earlier by 2055 with IS
& ID loop, like yesterday, but not today. Who knows how this will go
with EDT?

Also confirmed Friday March 8 at 2310 the 2300 on WRMI 9955, S9/+10
direct, no jamming audible. From next week: at 2200 UT; also a real
hour earlier then marked #. Next:
