Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8

** ANTARCTICA. 15475.98 RC USB, March 16 at 2211, LRA36 is on, VG
S9+10 into Argentine SDR, YL with historical info mixing bits of harp?
music. By 2340 hitting S9+40 with lots of noise, self-imposed? Or by
the SDR, otherwise only S7. Expected to stop by 2400 (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** CUBA [non]. R. Mart? logs are normally filed thus, but also now
could just as well be UKRAINE [non], so I am just keeping them under U
S A

** GERMANY [non]. 15195, March 16 at 1532, S7/S9 of HoA music: or not
quite since EiBi shows this is DW in Hausa via FRANCE for Nigeria on
Saturdays only at 1425-1630, i.e. for stupid ballgames, but none right
now (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** MALI. 5995, March 16 at 0644, still noise blob, no program audio
from presumed ORTM. Has anyone heard same or anything at all, on day
frequency 9635? At 1640 no signal into UTwente. Nominal span was
08-18, then back to 5995. Also on 9635 meanwhile: Vietnam, CNR1
jamming, Sound of Hope (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** MARTINIQUE. 28444 USB, March 16 at 2151, FM5WS, quick DX pro-forma
contacts, French accent: ``FM5WS Martinique flag Martinique, Jean
"John" BAILLARD, Ducos 97224, Martinique`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 90.1, Sat Mar 16 at 1100 UT, KUCO going from first to
second hour of `Beyond the Barrier` ambient music, so in DST season
it`s at 10-12 UT, as well as 05-07 UT, the overnight Sat programs
still secret, not accounted for on program sked
https://www.kucofm.com/program-grid/ via Firefox & Chrome inaccessible
at 1650 March 16 but accessible via Edge, while the webcast via
streamguys.com is playing fine during cinematic `Reel Music`, 1700 Met
Opera `Turandot` (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

** SUDAN SOUTH [non]. 15550, Sat March 16 at 1536, similar-sounding
signal to 15565 Vatican in Amharic, but this is weaker S8/S9; R.
Tamazuj in SSUD Arabic via MADAGASCAR, at 1500-1600, per EiBi
including English Tue & Fri 1511-1530 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 5960.005, Sat March 16 at 2259, VOT comes on just in time
for 2300 English sign-on for the 1330 broadcast only, mixing with
timesignal from XJRTV understation on earlier than usual *2311v.
S9+40/45 into UTwente which displays a smidgin below 5960.000 which
must have been XJ, as above +5v Hz once I refresh it. News first and
mostly about Gaza. 2310.5 `The Energy Agenda` on T`s strategic
location for natural gas pipelines. 2318 song. 2327 `T`s Geomarked
[sic] Products`, recipe for a dessert made with cheese, sherbet/syrup,
temp 350 C -- really?! = 662 F. 2329 song, 2332 another song. 2337
another2 song... If it runover past 2400 that will be in my next
report (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 17865, Sat March 16 at 1501, as expected, R. Mart? is now
here as sked Sat & Sun instead of 17680 at 17-21 M-F; only S6/S8
direct, not blasting in like 17680, but propagation today is degraded,
10m is even dead and/or the MUF has not built up yet, and/or dependent
on sporadic E between NC and OK. 1525 recheck, outro VOA Editorial,
Martinoticias contact info, 1526 `Abriendo Espacios` women`s program
but focus on Ukraine. Now it`s S9/+10 direct. At 1544 recheck it`s
off! But cuts back on and off again during Ukrainian song. At 1552
finally tuning via UTwente: off, but back on at *1557, S9+15/20. Left
running in background, no more breeaks perceived. 1642 Ukrainian song
again. 1700 dead air and off 1701*. Indeed not on 17680 after 1700
since this is not M-F. One must wonder why VOA itself and/or RFE/RL
have not re-started SW broacasts in Ukrainian/Russian for a rather
larger audience.

Follow-ups: Richard Langley says the date 17680 ran past 2100 was
March 14; Wolfgang Bueschel says the reason Biblis or Lampertheim are
not used for this is high cost of electricity in Germany (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2234 monitoring: confirmed UT
Saturday March 16 at 0130 on WRMI 5850, S7/S9 into Maryland SDR, vs
continuous roar noise; even worse at Maine SDR atop us. Yet into
Missouri SDR S9+30 without roar, and also OK direct, as it`s 315
degrees beamed right at us. The further east, the more the roar,
really ruining WRMI on that frequency. Is it some legit ute or
``jamming``??

Also confirmed UT Saturday March 16 at 0400 sharp, ex-0500, on WTWW
5085, S9+20/40 into Missouri SDR, and VG direct, appended to `Ancient
Word Radio` -- not World as sometimes typoed, and not to be confused
with another AWR; bit of music after at 0429 and off.

Also confirmed Saturday March 16 at 1554 the 1530 on SW Radio, Grmany,
6160.002, S9+5/15 into UTwente. WBCQ/TOMBS not a problem!

Also confirmed Saturday March 16 at 1725 the still 1700 on WRN North
American webcast, same UT despite imposition of DST over here. It`s //
their Af/As/Pac service where DST is irrelevant; so WRN makes the
change to 1600 etc., for equally irrelevant BST as of March 31.

Also confirmed Saturday March 16 at 1845 the 1830 on SW Radio,
Germany, 3975.002, S9+10 into UTwente.

Confirmed Saturday March 16 at 1930 on WRMI webcast-only as expected
ex-2030; and not on 15770. That is, playing on my Winamp as saved
link:
http://wrmi.listen.creek.fm/stream

While exactly the same link http://wrmi.listen.creek.fm/stream
accessed more directly is carrying Polish Radio presumably from WRN.
Huh? After 2000 they continue to be different, one with La Rosa de
