I better wait for Bhaskar's input on this one.  I
think that the small file is somehow a settings file.

Are you including the filename in your path?  I think
it is not supposed to be there... just the path.

Also, are permissions on the folders appropriate? 
Maybe the process doesn't have access to enter the
folder.
