Mazel tov, Heidi! You are the best possible choice for this award and the
citation says it all. Your many initiatives are a great model within and
beyond Judaica librarianship. You've been working for the betterment of AJL
and Jewish books for children from the minute Etta recruited us for SFAJL
these many years ago -- thanks, Etta! -- and  I expect you will continue to
inspire all of us with your creativity and drive.
