Greetings all, I have a copy of the 1901 work Di Yidishe ḳolonial-banḳ : ihr ṭheṭigḳayṭ und ihr tsuḳunfṭ / fun Ben-Zeʼev. The current information in OCLC identifies Ben-Ze'ev as Hilel ben Ze'ev Malakhovski (authorized form: Malachowsky, H. (Hillel), 1860-1943); the National Library of Israel identifies Ben-Ze'ev as David Volfson (authorized form: Wolffsohn, David, 1856-1914). Neither authority record gives substantiating information relating the individual to the entity Ben-Ze'ev. I've also done preliminary online research but have not found any resources connecting the Ben-Ze'ev identity with either individuals. Does anybody have information or ideas that can help?
