The hints part of LFS has been almost completely dormant (I hesitate to
say defunct, but that is my suspicion) for some time. I don't recollect
seeing Tushar or Archaic make a post in over a year! I'd suggest
putting this material in the BLFS wiki - which is certainly what I will
do if I feel moved to write again.
