Greetings all,

Like Gilles, I also won't have any more time to finish the testing
until the end of December. While I agree that it is necessary before
3.2.0 goes out, and desirable before 3.2.0rc1 goes out, I think that
maintaining the momentum is the most important.

Neal's proposal at the start of October was to test for all of October
and then release something. If others are also tired, I vote that we
put out 3.2.0b5 now to show the world that we're back on track, and
then put out 3.2.0rc1 when the exhaustive testing is done. That way
we may have some feedback from beta testers before RC1 too.

However, if Neal, Gabriele and others still have the energy, then by
all means push the release date back a little. If we do that, could
we set another (achievable) deadline to finish the testing, so the
release doesn't just fizzle out? How about the end of November?
