The IBM "joblog", the pair of values in the Reader Date/Time and the JOB name have NEVER been adequate to define all records for a job, precisely because of the actual occurrence for many years of two jobs going thru the reader in the same unit of time, and because IBM will never change the resolution of the SMFSTAMP fields.
It has ALWAYS been required to add JESNR to identify uniquely all records (30, 6, and 26) for a specific job. Unfortunately, not all SMF job-related record also contain JESNR (14/15,42,64, etc. don't) but those are execution time-frame records, which can be associated with the correct JESNR by comparing their SMFTIME with the INIT/TERM in the 30 records.
