Hi, I need to generate PDF documents and want to use a form as a template. Just like the IText "accreditation card" exemple. I will then fill fields and merge PDF & form to produce a PDF server side.
So far, I've played with Acroforms with success but I miss some formating options I've tried to design a form with LiveCycle Designer, which I think produces XFA forms. With this, I can produce some advanced layout but I wonder : - will I be able to "flatten" the XFA Form and the background PDF ? - will I have access to "floating fields" via IText - will I ultimately need another library that IText or even Adobe server software to manipulate XFA form because it's an Adobe "only" product ? Thanks a lot. -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/iText-form-manipulation-%3A-Acroform-of-XFA...-tp26318857p26318857.html Sent from the iText - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
