Hello,
I'm using iText via JBoss Seam 2.2.0.GA to create documents for a large
insurance company. Everything works perfectly, and my thanks to the authors!
Several of the documents use an OCRA Extended font. They display correctly on
displays, and if I print them to something like a Xerox Phaser printer,
everything is fine. When I look at the file using Adobe Acrobat, and select
the PDF Optimizer, it indicates that the document has the OCRA font embedded,
which is correct. If I remove the OCRA font from my local system, the
document still displays properly. So far so good. When I send the document
to the company's print center (Xerox continuous feed printers), the OCRA font
gets substituted with something else. Again, sorry for the off topic
question, but any ideas what could cause this? The Xerox guys said they could
install Postscript 3 on the printers. Could that be the issue?
