You'll have to take the problem to Foxit. It works correctly with Acrobat,
doesn't it?

Subject: [iText-questions] Digital sigantures generated with itext are not
valid in Foxit

Hello,

I tried two methods to sign on a PDF file with itext:
This one uses .NET CmsSigner:
http://itextpdf.sourceforge.net/howtosign.html#signtsocspcs

I've signed a simple file this way and I got this:
http://www.darina.us/code/uploader/adobe.pdf

And this uses java keystore:
http://itextpdf.sourceforge.net/howtosign.html#signtsocspjava

I tried to sign this way the same file and I got this:
http://www.darina.us/code/uploader/outBoth.pdf

Now, the signature seems to be valid on both files when I open it in acrobat
reader (and configure it to to look for the CA in my windows cert. store).

However with foxit only the second file "outBoth.pdf" is verified correctly...

When I open the "adobe.pdf" with Foxit I get a message telling me the file was
altered or modified after the signature was applied.

Is there any solution to this?
