I didn't say that it was iText's fault to produce a bad PDF (IF - and it's a 
BIG IF - it is indeed a bad PDF), but it might be due to the implementation of 
iText in this specific task (iText is just a tool, and like any tool it can be 
used to create a masterpiece or garbage). Maybe the PDF was not created with 
iText just the signature was applied by it.

All I said that Adobe Reader is forgiving while other parsers may not be. So 
the fact that Adobe Reader is displaying the PDF correctly does not mean that 
the file is per spec and there's a problem in other parsers.
