I have a Hauppauge pvr-500mce.

Things are working nicely and I'm very satisfied with most of the
configurations and quality. I'm using v2.6.12-gentoo-r6 and ivtv 36z

I would like to see samples of others' pvr-500mce /pvr-150mce while
recording A.) the end credits of anything ( white text on black
background ) and B.) the scrolling yellow text which is the bottom
banner of CNN and most news channels. Unfortunately my capture of these
elements fails to impress me, I hope someone else has done a better job.
I can offer development related hosting for small/medium/large video
samples for a limited time and on request. So please don't let hosting
bandwidth be a reason not to compare your capture output.

I have these variables set in my environment already, and cannot
determine whether I can improve on my quality... or if WYSIWYG.

What is anyone elses experience with the capturing of credits and
scrolling text with this card and driver combination?
