I have been trying for a few weeks to get this PVR-500 to work in linux. I have tried every searchable solution. I always end up with static and then a reboot after a few minutes or picture and sound then reboot after a few seconds. Currently 1st tuner has former and 2nd later. It seems like a conflicting hardware issue but no matter how much I do to the system I can't get it working. I've tried a few diffrent combos of kernel's, ivtv drivers, bios, agp and pci settings. Luckly I started of with a BTTV card which seems to be working good. Any idea's?
