I installed from rpm version 0.3.6w and then compiled and installed the 0.3.7a.
The /var/log/messages for ivtv show version 0.3.6w. Does that mean the 0.3.7a didn't take?

If I want to go back to the "rpm's", how do I back out the "make install" version? Do I have to?
