Thanks for your help, even though you were seeking instead of providing.
I have been looking for the command forever. My 350 has been recording
too quiet. I have mine sitting at 61500 now. I am also interested in
getting this to be set during startup or wherever. I have tried various
configurations from inside mythtv but it doesn't appear to work there. I
guess I will stick it in the fvwmrc file where my green screen fix is
located
The default volume appears to have changed sometime around 3.3 or so. I
still can't get ivtv37a to install.
Also is the:
/etc/X11/ko_KR.eucKR
a normal folder? For some reason it make my head twinge and worry
hackers might have compromised my server. It is protected with
multilayer firewalls and ACLs. Maybe I'm just paranoid.

Subject: [ivtv-devel] Recorded audio saturated
Hi all,
I don't know if this is truely a problem with ivtv or with which version
it started. However, all audio comming from my 550 is too loud. After
doing:
ivtvctl -y volume=55000
The recorded volumes are much better. Has there been a change to the
default value for this setting? Is there a way to set it through module
options? I'm currently using 0.3.7.
Thanks much.
Kevin
