Having had no problems with my 350/500 combo for a while, I felt adventurous and upgraded from 0.3.7a to 0.3.7b. And unless it's just the reboot that worked its mojo, the output quality I have now is the best I have seen on my Myth box. The Xine and mplayer output is about as good as it can get (on my good old 50Hz SD Grundig 28" TV) - no flicker or framedrops. No need to buy that separate DVD/MPEG-4 player now! =)
