I use the 2.6.13-rc4 supplied tuner (in fact, I compiled it as part of the
kernel, not as a module), and only then does ivtv fail to run. If you use the
tuner from ivtv, then it's OK.
For 0.2.0 ivtv you probably only need to patch ivtv-driver.c (check the line
ivtv_tuner(itv, TUNER_SET_TYPE_ADDR, &setup); ). That should fix the tuner.
