In my experience, this is only a problem when moving between versions of the cx25840 module; especially earlier 0.3.x to current, between which there is a big difference in how the card is initialized. One reset for a particular version should work for that version forevermore. In contrast, the saa7115's register config has been static for a while now. (The wm8775 only has about 2-3 bytes of registers, so there's not much to mess up. ;)) -- Tyler Trafford Ever wonder if taxation without representation might have been cheaper? ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ ivtv-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ivtv-devel
