I have a problem with my PVR500 tuners haveing a picture sort of offset up and to the right. (leaves about 1 inch on the bottom and the left side of the mpeg)

I have a 2mb example here
http://dustsmoke.com/download/test.mpeg
(built via cat /dev/video2 >> test.mpeg)

Anybody have any idea what would cause this?

Thanks,

Well, I figured this out... I had to turn off VBI and then it works great. But at the same time, disabling VBI completely anihilated my PVR350's picture.. When it isn't just plain 'bad', the frame is split right in the center of the screen or looking like a film real gone bad. (The PVR-350 I can deal with for now, It seems like its picture just sucks through every driver iteration which half inspired me to get the 500 in the first place... but never has it been as grainy as this.)

Maybe its just something I'm doing wrong here. (dmesg output on my previous message)
