Hi I have an Adaptec AVC-2410 and got it working a while ago. I have a working video capture system using ivtv-0.3.2d.
I added a page to the wiki regarding setting up the card: http://ivtv.writeme.ch/tiki-index.php?page=AdaptecAVC-2410 I would love support to be added for this card to the current ivtv code. On the page above is a link to the code I am using. There is a module included with the code (written by the owner of an AVC-2010) cs53l32a.c This sets the audio chip up. The only bit not setup is switching audio between the tuner and composite input which is currently done manually. I submitted a patch to lirc-0.7.0 which it is now included in the current version of the code. The modifications for ivtv are simply recognising my card and automatically loading the extra module. It would be neat if ivtvctl could be used to switch the audio input on the cs53l32a and although I will likely find it quite difficult I will be happy to attempt it, however there is little poiint if the other code is not going to be added to the main source tree. I am willing to update the current code with the above modifications if the changes are going to be added into the main source tree.
