MythTV should overscan by default with xv playback. Do the other applications
overscan or is it just MythTV that seems to have problems. If it's just
MythTV, make sure you haven't selected 'Use GUI size for TV Playback' in the
setup.
In my setup every Program, that uses xv or x11 overcans on the PVR 350.
I use mythtv, xine and several lightweight windowmanagers.
