It is not supported in any way
So maybe running a released version of Xorg might be a good idea.
Mine is 6.7.0 & I've used 6.8.1 as well.

There is both a 32 bit binary and the source code available here.
This reduces the CPU usage of the xdriver quite considerably. The
smaller the image being rendered the greater the gain will be though it
does seem to reduce the cpu usage by about 50% even for full screen
PAL.

I tried the binary - and I got this errors in Xorg.0.log:

any simple remedy for this?
