Unfortunately, it's not really that simple.  GCJ targets a specific
runtime model, meaning object layout, memory allocation scheme, etc,
etc.  Ideally, GCJ and the bytecode interpreter will share the same
object model.  I'm not sure to what extent Japhar can be hacked to map
onto GCJ's model of the world (or vice versa, but it's probably easier
to hack Japhar).
