Both are driver bugs, maybe somebody should file a bug in the mesa bugzilla.
On nvidia you could try to add -Dsun.java2d.opengl.fbobject=false to the command-line. Also not that when running compiz the driver crashes. Also note that no intel chip currently supports the OpenGL pipeline, it does not even support the D3D pipeline on windows because of driver bugs. Also note that the mesa based drivers are in a pretty bad shape, much worse than the commercial drivers shipped for windows/osx, for gaming benchmarks it archives usually 1/3 of the FPS the same game archieves on OSX. Furthermore it lacks FBOs, (usable) shaders (i965+) and many other modern features. - Clemens [Message sent by forum member 'linuxhippy' (linuxhippy)] http://forums.java.net/jive/thread.jspa?messageID=322825 =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to lists...@java.sun.com and include in the body of the message "signoff JAVA2D-INTEREST".
