Since my Open Book software has run away from home during my move, or may be in a box placed above my head, I was hoping to get this for my printer/scanner, however, Jaws turns on the touch cursor and when I tried to buy the site locked up and after 30 minutes I had to turn off the computer to get it to unlock. Not a happy camper. Especially since the sale is so limited, already paid full price for the app on my phone which I can use but I am not particularly handy with the camera.
I like the app on my phone but there are times I'd rather used my scanner. Apparently I will have to pay another full price due to the limited nature of this sale, drives me crazy, the Android app (I do not have an Android device, was on sale for ever and ever. I can afford the full price but, it is annoying to have to pay that again when I did so in 2014. Then they started the half price occasional sales but I did not need to buy the app again. Oh, well such is life. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Lynn White Sent: Friday, March 3, 2017 11:24 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] New KNFBReader app for Windows 10 From what I can tell, it does a brilliant job of scanning. I'm using a Cannoscan. I think that's what they're called. The small portable scanner.
