Hi Lenny, Make sure that the items you want to remove from the startup tab are unchecked. After that, close the system configuration utility,and then run msconfigdisabled. When you run the script, it should ask if you want to remove any items, and you need to tab to the yes button and spacebar that. At this point, it should give you the name of an item, and ask if you want to remove it, and you will tab to the yes button and spacebar it. Sometimes it is necessary to use the Jaws cursor to get the info you are looking for. Give this a try and let us know what happens.
