Oh, I see Ted. Because I am usually working with journal articles when using this feature, or something like bbc world news, it becomes really innocuous, but I see your point here. Hope this will get solved somehow. All the best, Takis

Another thought. the "r" shortcut takes you to a webpage's different regions. Pressing r until you hear "main region" is another way of getting to content quickly. For me, the problem with a "Skip to main content" link is that the webpage sees clicking on it as moving to a new page. When I'm working with several websites at one time, this seemingly innocuous detail can create confusion. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Panagiotis Antonopoulos Sent: Tuesday, August 15, 2017 2:49 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] is there a quick navigation command to jump to non-control text? Hi Ted/all, I do not know the specific answer, however, many library or articles having sites, have a link called "skip to content". Make sure you trace it and it usually takes you where you want. Dear List: If I want to read an article that is on a web page, or the first occurrence of non-controlled text, is there a quick navigation command to jump to the body of the article where text is found without having to wade through all of the controls that precede it? I thought the letter n would do it, but I was wrong. Thanks.
