Hi. I don't know what VLC has to do with unzipping files/books. Shouldn't affect anything like that.
As for Cyberlink, if you don't use it, just get rid of it. I also remember it being far from keyboard-friendly, at the very least. No point in keeping around programs you don't use. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Justin Williams Sent: March 21, 2018 1:24 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] vlc and dvd/cds Okay, when I downloaded vlc 3.01 again, I was unable to unzip the bard files for the nls books. I had to delete it without testing to see if it worked for dvds and cds. I couldn't get SMplayer to play dvds, but I got it to play the cd a couple of times before it quit doing that. Has anyone used cyberlink powermiedia? It doesn't seem accessible, and I'm wondering if it is interfearing with VLC when I try it. the dvds keep coming up saying the cyberlink powe rmedia is playing them rather than the vlc.
