What operating system are you using, Xp, Vista, etc? JAWS 7 is not the newest version of JAWS, Version 10 is. You do need to know if the JAWS version you have is standard or professional.
Given how old JAWS 7 is, I doubt it will work with I.E. 8. I know it will not work with Vista, and I'm guessing that it will not work with Windows 7.
