When you call them the person comes on the line then asked you your name then asked you what kind of computer problem you are having. Then they asked you if they can take over your pc and you have to click a few things as they walk you through it. Then they are logged on to your pc and they can fix the problem. They then will tell you what the issue is. I have used the service many times and have had very good luck with them. They are all very nolagable. Give it a try and you will not believe how well it workds. Just how involved is it? I mean do they route you around several departments before you get where you need to be? ----- Original Message ----- From: Pinky To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Wednesday, July 30, 2014 12:17 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Adobe Reader Why not just call the Microsoft Disability help line for the free assistance to solve this issue. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Gerald Levy Sent: Wednesday, July 30, 2014 11:44 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Adobe Reader Because of its high vulnerability to hacker attacks, I uninstalled JRE from my XP system some time ago, which did not affect the performance of Adobe Reader in any way. So I don't think installing JRE will resolve your problem with Adobe Reader, and it could make your system less secure.
