Color syntax highlighting turned off in JDE, is there a workaround?

Hi,

I like to use the color-theme program to set up all the syntax highlighting. It works 
well for all modes except JDE where most of the font locks are turned off. Is there a 
work around for this. I looked in the archives and found a couple of postings but 
nothing there would make it work. Any suggestions?
