Andy, you misunderstand the effect of this bug. Of course the row in the list bold as long as the new email has not been opened.
But, whenever I open an email, the icon of a closed letter is shown on top, although it has already been opened. When I tap on this icon, it changes to an open envelope. Then this email will be shown bold i.e. not read in the list. Actually it should be vice versa!
