Yes, exactly. We have many Native American tribes in this area, and many cities are named after them. Enumclaw, Puyallup, etc. Say EE-num-claw and Pew-AL-up (that's pew as in a church, and Al, like the nickname for Allan). It's a challenge for newcomers, but we "natives" take it all in stride!
