Dear Arachnids I think we have all found the wrong end of a pin at some time, I ceertainly have.
Having cut off many pairs of bobbins that should have remained in use I now always leave at least 6 inches (15 cms) of thread when I cut off a pair. Then if I find I have made a blunder, I can tie bobbins on the ends and continue making and deal with the knots when I meet them.
