Hello All! Upon considering a little sampler project, I wondered if
adding/tossing pairs is part of the Milanese experience? Many patterns appear
to have fixed width braids except for the ends. Is there any reason why the
width couldn't change at various points along a path as long as they were
aesthetically pleasing? One idea that came to mind was to morph from a wider
braid to a narrower one where one braid crosses another. Or to use a slithery
looking braid (Ammonite or Cloth Divisions) to come out of a curve with fewer
bobbins. Any advice from the Milanese experts? Sincerely, Susan Hottle, Palm
Beach Gardens (just this side of Eden!), FLA, USA
