also printing spot colours using render intent = absolute gives very acurate results (for in gammut colours).
also for White (or very light colors)?
_within the limit of the gamut of the device_
ie, if I take a spot color (be it a very light color or other), and enter it into as a CIELab into gamut view in gretag, and gretag says it in gamut, then it gives a _very_ near result when printed.
and as to white ... well, what is white ? :-) the white of something you shot with a spectro ? the white of the paper you are printing on ? the white of your monitor ? I'll leave the issue of 'what is white' at that.
