Dear all, the upcoming webconf page for dnsmasq will for the first time acknowledge the inherent capacity of Dnsmasq to read more than one resolv-file. I did not understand this ability until recently, but I would now like to ask for some aid among those using a ppp cable link, since I have no such access.
The matter concerns the default entries in /etc/dnsmasq.conf that Buildroot2 inserts. Thus could someone with ppp-access perform the experiment of booting a fresh Bering image with /etc/dnsmasq.conf preprepared as to include the three statements resolv-file=/etc/dhcpc/resolv.conf resolv-file=/etc/ppp/resolv.conf resolv-file=/etc/resolv.conf in this order, and then report any issues of time delays. Possibly, someone has already tried a similar idea and could could inform me on the effect. Most importantly, I would like to know whether this enable correct functionality of OpenNTP right from start.
